DEVELOPMENT AND AGING: This Gran Reserva 890 is the result of a careful selection process elapsed from the best grapes are harvested until, finally wines chosen to wear this label, conclude their slow aging. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations were developed well, before moving to American oak handcrafted in our cooperage. After his six years of careful aging in cask and 12 manual racking Vigier's iconic ship, only the best wines were bottled in September 2006. In order to preserve maximum aroma components, this wine is not filtered and went straight from the barrel. Finally, only 24,955 bottles, each numbered, wear this label.

The Winery
La Rioja Alta

On July 10, 1890, five Basque and Rioja-based vine growers created "Sociedad Vinicola De La Rioja Alta" in what is known as the Haro Station District. This was the beginning of a fascinating business venture in which the only dream of the five founders was to craft and age high-quality wines.
