Description of Imperial Gran Reserva 2012
Imperial Gran Reserva 2012 (Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Shown in beautiful glass of cherry red color.
- Nose: It offers aromas of ripe fruit, licorice, intense spices and balsamic tones.
- Mouth: The palate is round, balanced and elegant.
APPELLATION: Rioja, Spain.
VINEYARD: Wine Company of Northern Spain - CVNE.
GRAPES: Mazuela, Graciano, Tempranillo.
AGEING: aged for 22 months in barrels of French and American oak, during which apply rackings every 4 months. Once breeding is completed, clarified and bottled, making a bottle aging in the cellar draft of the end of tune before heading out to the market.
PREPARATION: The grapes cold macerated prior to fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel and the end of the fermentation another long post-fermentation maceration is performed.
WINE PAIRING: Ideal with sheep cheese, roasted red meat, white fish to the oven, Iberian ham, roast lamb and bluefish.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 ° C
