Imperial Gran Reserva 1968 (Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Imperial Gran Reserva 1968 is cherry tone in the core layer covered with live edging.
- Nose: Red fruits, cocoa, licorice, something spicy and liquor.
- Mouth: Full, rich, powerful. Candied red fruits, cherries macerated and slightly greasy feel to increase with some bottle.
METHOD: Using a manual harvest are selected in the vineyards of the Rioja Alta the best grapes. Previously cold macerated, the grape makes the temperature-controlled fermentation. The maceration is extended to extract the color and the desired structure and through malolactic fermentation and subsequent stay in new French oak barrels and American for several years, you get this great wine. Cvne Tinto Gran Reserva 2008
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. Clear notes of toffee. A little bit salty but it was very good.
