Typical opacity of a Cune (CVNE). It resembles a red fruit compote. It predominated roasted flavours.
Best paired with other food than the one we ordered.
I was lucky enough to try it with a client.

We enjoyed it in a barbecue. The best thing about this wine, the company.
It has a nice colour. Good coffee aroma. Compared to other Rioja it was rough.

Classic red cherry color of a 2009. Aromas of coffee, toffee. Strong flavour which reminds me of strawberry candy.
We paired the Imperial Gran Reserva with a starter.
We drank it at a meeting with friends.
They had it in a wine bar.
A wine for special occasions.
