This 100% Tempranillo wine comes from a selection of old vineyards settled on calcareous-clay soils in the Sonsierra area of La Rioja. The harvest, which takes place between the second and third week of October, is done manually, to ensure only the best Tempranillo grapes are selected. This Rioja has aromas of berries and is accompanied by spicy notes and liquorice, which is so characteristic of the variety. Well structured with good acidity, this wine leaves a long and pleasant aftertaste.

TASTING NOTES:
- View: Intense cherry red with violet nuances typical of its youth
- Nose: Aromas of berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) accompanied by spicy notes and liquorice, characteristic of the variety. Graphite mineral notes are also perceived, as well as certain hints reminiscent of vanilla and fallen leaves that increase aromatic complexity.
- Mouth: It has a good structure and acidity that generates a lasting finish. Although it is a structured wine, it has a very pleasant and enveloping character, as a result of ageing during its time spent in barrels.
APPELLATION: Rioja
VINEYARD: Hacienda López de Haro
AGING: 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
PREPARATION: Manual harvest during the second and third week of October. Maceration for 10 days, controlled fermentation at 28ºC.
