TASTING NOTES OF Finca Valpiedra Reserva Magnum 2008:
- View: high intensity, cherry and cardenalicio trim. rich, dense and tinted tear.
- Nose: high intensity, high complexity, elegance, mineral notes of red and black fruits, memories of incense, fine notes of wood, vanilla, cedar, blond snuff and spices.
- Mouth: excellent softness, a very fine tannic, tasty and full-bodied structure, balance between freshness and alcohol, long aftertaste and a nice finish, spicy, fruity.
VINEYARD: Finca Valpiedra.
GRAPES: 94% Tempranillo, Graciano 3% and 3% Maturana Tinta.
AGEING: 22 months in new French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Macerate for 16 days.
WINE PAIRING: semi-hard cheeses, braised red meats, lamb and game dishes (such as roe deer and chamois).
TEMPERATURE: 14-16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
