Cune Reserva 2015 (Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: beautiful burgundy medium hue, presents delicate flecks of pink and purple. Slightly dense.
  • Nose: its attractive aromas confer exquisiteness, you can feel floral and fruity aromas. Mixed fruit in harmony with spices that reveals its barrel aging forest.
  • Mouth: The palate is delicious, sweet and well structured, passing through the mouth is marked by silky tannins. pleasantly fresh finish and long aftertaste and complex.

- NOTA DE CATA: Intensa capa de color granate. Atractivo aroma a frutos del bosque, ciruela y mermelada en perfecto equilibrio con los aromas golosos de vainilla, toffe y coco provenientes de la crianza en barrica. En boca es un vino con personalidad, con un tanino pulido que aparece para dar carnosidad y estructura. En la retronasal nos aparecen aromas a regaliz y anisados, ello nos da la frescura que nos incita a seguir bebiendo.

- TEMPERATURA DE SERVICIO: 17º a 18ºC
- MARIDAJE: Es perfecto para maridar tanto las carnes rojas especiadas, como guisos y cocidos.

Cune Reserva es un vino tinto de la D.O. La Rioja elaborado por la bodega CVNE, una de las más famosas del barrio de la estación del pueblo de Haro, en La Rioja.

Se trata de un coupage de las variedades Tempranillo (85%) y Graciano, Garnacha y Mazuelo (15% entre las tres) que tiene un paso de 18 meses en barrica y 24 meses en botella.

Este vino tinto riojano elaborado en viñedos de la rioja alta no te defraudará por esa experiencia que posee Cune, y que ha ganado a través de años, de elaborar vinos reserva y grandes reserva.

- Intense ruby red, bright and deep in colour.
- Rich, deep aromas of bramble, red autumn fruit with a hint of balsamic and warm spices from fine oak.
- The palate is fine, complex and long, with balanced tannins and an excellent bright finish.
- 85% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano.
- The grapes were hand picked from selected vineyards and, following destalking, they were fermented at controlled temperatures between 28 and 30 degrees C.
- Following a full malolactic fermentation to balance the acidity, and to round and soften the wine, it was matured for two years in a mixture of French and American oak, with rackings every six months.
- After bottling, the wine was cellared for a year before release.

I propose to pair this Rioja with sausages from the same region. A good wine to enjoy with good friends.
Outstanding cherry colour with a low layer. If you are a fan of red fruit compote, then this wine is perfect for you. Such a tasty flavour with hints of chocolate.
