Elaboration of Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 1954
Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 1954
- View: Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 1954 has a medium ruby red to bright, clean. Orange reflections
- Nose: aromas exhaling cigar cellar, aromatic coffee, múrgulas, Virginia snuff pipe, orange marmalade, candied cherries, cocoa butter ... Powerful and ethereal, while fragrant, perfumed quality.
- Palate: Agile, fresh with a vibrant acidity and indefinable, silky, smooth texture tannins. It leaves us speechless by its fineness, energy and deep character "amurrietado" that makes it distinguishable from any other wine. Near-perfect roundness
GRAPES: Tempranillo, majority, Mazuelo and Garnacha
WINERY: Marqués de Murrieta
Bodegas Marqués de Murrieta is a family company with long tradition in Rioja. A project based at the junction of the wines with the familiar look. Its history dates back to 1852 with Luciano de Murrieta.More about the Winery
Reviews of Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 1954
Marques de Murrieta Castillo Ygay 2007
A red Bordeaux Garnacha. Smelling it, I noticed the aromas of blackberries. Very light.
We had it while we waited for the meal, with appetizers.
Marqués de Murrieta Finca Ygay Reserva 2014
We had it with a birthday cake.
I drank it together with my sister.
