Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva 2009 (Mazuelo and Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Vivid ruby-red.
- Nose: Bright red fruits, floral notes, truffles, and incense, spicy touches.
- Mouth: Full-bodied with a satin-soft mouth feel. A Gran Reserva that shows strength, an elegant bouquet, fruity intensity and impeccable balance.
APPELLATION: Rioja
VINEYARD: Castillo Ygay
AGING: Aged in new American and French oak barrels for 28 months
PREPARATION: Fermentation in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks for 11 days, with daily "remontage" and "pigeage" processes which help the wine to develop its own personality.
