TASTING NOTES OF Carlos Serres Reserva 2007:

  • View: attractive cherry-red garnet, medium-high, ruby ​​reflections on its border layer.

A well-rounded, harmonious Reserva, with a very deep and elegant bouquet. It has a clean, complex nose. This is a powerful and full-bodied red from the famous Serres estate in Haro.

Carlos Serres Reserva utiliza en su elaboración uvas de las variedades Tempranillo y Graciano de una selección de las diferentes parcelas de la Finca El Estanque un viñedo de 60 hectáreas que posee la bodega en el mejor terruño de Haro. Los viñedos cuentan con una media de edad de 30 años. La vendimia es manual se inicia a mediados de octubre en la variedad Tempranillo y a finales del mes en la variedad Graciano. Elaborado en depósitos de acero inoxidable. Después de un ligero despalillado y estrujado el mosto macera en contacto con los hollejos. La fermentación se realiza a una temperatura controlada de 30º C durante trece días. Permanece durante 24 meses en barricas de roble francés y americano. Afinamiento en botella durante doce meses.
