Beronia Gran Reserva (Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)
TASTING NOTES OF Beronia Gran Reserva:
- View: cherry red, garnet and ocher hues.
- Nose: Complex and elegant nose, notes of sweet spices such as nutmeg Muez, cloves, balsamic certain a fonso of ripe fruit, well integrated wood.
- Mouth: large and fleshy palate, well structured, nuances of ripe fruit and liquorice, live wine with sweet tannins very well integrated, harmonious and persistent output.
APPELLATION: Rioja.
VINEYARD: González Byass
GRAPES: Tempranillo 87%, 8%, and 5% Mazuelo Graciano.
WINE PAIRING: Red meat, game, cured cheeses and foie gras.
TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C

Gonzalez Byass was founded in 1835 when the young Manuel Maria Gonzalez Angel reached Jerez willing to take a place in the prosperous and thriving sherry business. Encouraged by the continuous development of exports, in the same year he acquired a small winery and started to produce and, finally, export sherry as well.
