Barón de Ley Reserva 2015 (Tempranillo)


  • View: cherry color with red flashes.
  • Nose: intense and fruity aroma with notes of raspberries and blackberries that are assembled perfectly. This smell combined with notes of coconut and caramel provide a balanced nose.
  • Mouth: voluminous round tannins and a hint of acidity taste. In turn it has notes of pepper, vanilla and cloves which dominate in the mouth with flavors of ripe fruit. long and intense finish with hints of red fruits.

APPELLATION: La Rioja, Spain.

VINEYARD: Baron de Ley.

GRAPES: 100% Tempranillo.

AGEING: 20 months in American oak barrels - 24 months in the bottle cellar.

PREPARATION: the best range of grapes to be stripped and passed through a fermentation process and wine at a controlled temperature between 29 and 30 ° C is chosen.

I tasted it as I had received it as a present.
Dark red colour. It disclosed a very nice smell of white roses. This Tempranillo has a very very long aftertaste.
