Carabal Cavea Crianza Magnum 2008
This is a new and exciting project in which I have invested a great effort, long time and a lot of money, said its owner Antonio Banús Ferré, who put all his endeavors to create this winery on a farm he bought two decades in the Sierra de Guadalupe in Caceres Alia term.
The quality is guaranteed by the known winemaker Ignacio de Miguel, advisor to the warehouse, despite acknowledging that it was not an easy project, but a rather complicated challenge as Extremadura, although it is a great wine region, the second in extension of Spain, is complex.
But thanks to the effort and enthusiasm put into this project has been a really different and wine with personality and therefore have a very singular thing, planted in the vineyard varietal exact combination to each of the wines marketed.
The 2006 vintage in the Finca el Carabal was propitious for obtaining good wines for being a year for a system of rainfall and temperatures and sunshine appropriate for the proper maturation of the grapes, which was completed one month September warm days and cool nights.
