Description of Torresilo 2017
Torresilo 2017 (Tempranillo)
- View: Cherry color very intense and brilliant.
- Nose: intense and complex, elegant with mineral aromas, ripe black fruit such as prunes, spices such as nutmeg, licorice and balsamic notes.
- Mouth: Deep flavor, balanced, silky full-bodied, ripe fruit and minerality pretty, velvety tannins, excellent acidity, creating a long, lingering finish.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero (Castilla y Leon, Spain).
VINEYARD: Cillar de Silos.
AGEING: Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel temperature controlled malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. His upbringing happens between 14 to 16 months in new French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: is harvested on sandy soils with clay and silt. The clusters are selected manually one by one.
