You will like to know that…

Tábula is a very balanced wine of Ribera del Duero, and with some very well integrated crianza notes. It is the humblest wine of the high range of Bodegas y Viñedos Tábula and a fantastic oportunity to know the good work of this cellar, which seeks the essence of the soil and the fruity charater of the wine.

Description of Tábula 2009

Tábula 2009 (Tempranillo)

TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: red, refreshing and friendly character fruit.
  • Palate: ripe fruits of the forest, sweet touch, balsamic and spicy background. It is a deep and powerful red.

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Ribera del Duero

VINEYARD: Bodegas Tábula

GRAPES: Tempranillo (strains over 30 years rooted loam soils calcareous)

DEVELOPMENT AND AGING: For its preparation, Bodegas Tábula commitment to work in the vineyard, making a rigorous selection of grapes and grains (once destemmed) and alcoholic fermentation in French oak large volumes: 50 100 hectoliters.

Breeding is 16 months in French oak barrels, mostly new.

Tábula was bottled unclarified and with a very light to preserve its essence filtering. 2009 was an excellent vintage in Ribera del Duero, a crop that exhibits a high purity of fruit and length on the palate, and at the same time asks for patience and oxygenation. Now the tannins are rounded in the bottle, and the wine has a long life yet.

TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ° C

We recommend decanting to control the possible presence of sediment but also to display it fully.

I had it with fish, but I didn't like the fish, and therefore the wine didn't taste right. The first person who told me about this wine, was my brother.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. The Tábula has aromas of violets. The texture of this wine from Bodegas y Viñedos Tábula was oily.
