The best Spanish wine in history for less than $20 according to Robert Parker has a new vintage.
Coming from the Villacreces estate, located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, it is a wine born in poor and contrasting soils, bathed by the Duero river, in a 64-hectare vineyard where Tinto Fino and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown. These varieties are responsible for giving the wine its characteristic aromatic profile and flavour, with a predominance of red and ripe fruit wrapped in a pleasant softness.

TASTING NOTE:
- View: Intense cherry red, with garnet tones.
- Nose: Aroma of red fruit and liquorice, accompanied by memories of its passage through the barrel with mineral and balsamic nuances.
- Mouth: Fresh taste and a long finish.

The entry-level here is the 2018 Pruno, which follows the line of the 2016. It's mostly Tempranillo with 9% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented for three weeks and matured in French barrels for 11 months.
