Ribera del Duero
Discover More About Our Products
The best Spanish wine in history for less than $20 according to Robert Parker has a new vintage.
Coming from the Villacreces estate, located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, it is a wine born in poor and contrasting soils, bathed by the Duero river, in a 64-hectare vineyard where Tinto Fino and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown. These varieties are responsible for giving the wine its characteristic aromatic profile and flavour, with a predominance of red and ripe fruit wrapped in a pleasant softness.
It should also be noted that Finca Villacreces is committed to respecting the privileged natural environment that surrounds it, in a clear gesture of vision and sustainability. All the more reason to trust this wine with its excellent quality/price ratio!

The entry-level here is the 2018 Pruno, which follows the line of the 2016. It's mostly Tempranillo with 9% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented for three weeks and matured in French barrels for 11 months. It's clean and quite fruit-driven, approachable and juicy, with integrated oak. Very pleasant, with very good freshness.View more
