You will like to know that...

The best Spanish wine ever for under 20 dollars, according to Robert Parker, has a new vintage.

From the Villacreces farm, located in the heart of Ribera del Duero, is a wine that is cultivated in poor and contrasting soils, bathed by the Duero River, in a vineyard of 64 hectares where Tinto Fino and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated.

These varieties are responsible for giving the wine its characteristic aromatic profile and flavor, where red and ripe fruit predominate, wrapped in a pleasant softness.

The 2017 vintage, in addition, takes a leap towards organic certification and, in the special magnum bottles launch, it will prove a wialreanner from the start. With this certification process, initiated three years ago, Finca Villacreces is committed to respecting the privileged natural environment that surrounds it, in a clear vision of the future and sustainability.

One more reason to give this fantastic value for money wine a go.

- Deep, black cherry in colour.
- Aromas of red fruit with oaky toffee hints from the ageing in French barrels give way to a sweet and fruity wine on the palate.
- With elements of ripe fruits and liquorice, this wine has a pleasant and soft finish.

I love this wine! Loved the 2013 vintage and I wasn't disappointed by the 2014 vintage either. 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in French oak. Brilliant wine and unbeatable price! Blueberry, raspberry and black fruit notes, nice texture and a long finish. You will sure impress your friends with this one!
