The fantastic selection of Tinta del País employed for this Protos Roble 2014 is the key to its quality. It comes from more than 25 year old vineyards that, after a conscientious selection and winemaking process, goes through a six month vintage process in American oak barrels and then another 6 months in bottle. Thus, this expressive in the nose and intense and fruity in the mouth wine is obtained, quite a classic Ribera del Duero wine in its scale and that will be a luxurious companion in a barbecue day with friends, for example. Quite a good choice for a reasonable price!
