Protos Roble 2008 (Tinto Fino)
Crianza 6 months in American oak barrels and another 6 in bottles before going to market.
In 1927 Protos wineries were born, when 11 wine growers of the region of Peñafiel joined forces to create the agricultural union Bodega Cooperativa, banner of cooperatives in the region. Protos, which means "the first", and was recognized in the Universal Exposition in Barcelona in 1929 with the gold medal. The Protos winery, which is located in a unique setting, crowned by the castle of Peñafiel, has 1,500 meters of underground galleries. It has 375 hectares of vineyards and 400 hectares of vineyards controlled and advised not owned and trained, all of them for tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
