View: ruby red, clean and maroon.
Nose: Fine, complex, ripe fruit, ripe cherry, cassis, fine woods, spicy, vanilla, coconut and licorice.
Mouth: balanced, tasty, sweet, well-integrated acidity, ripe tannins, ample, good entrance, fine, elegant, long finish.

I was impressed by its colour. This wine discloses a great flower smell. A very powerful red.
We paired the Pago de los Capellanes Reserva with a starter.
I tried it on a tasting course.
I bought some bottles of this wine on Uvinum.
It is a very recommendable Ribera del Duero.

The nose has a fine complexity with tones of ripened fruit such as cherry, cassis and plum all harmonised by the wood and spice character (vanilla and cocoa) with undercurrents of liquorice. The palate displays great balance with glossy, mature tannins and elegant fruit character that echoes the nose. The finish is long and elegant.
