Pago de Carraovejas Magnum 2018 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo and Tinto Fino)
- View: Bright cherry.
- Nose: The floral aromas that accompany the red fruit nuances predominate. Hints of creamy oak too.
- Mouth: Expressive, open, powerful and delicate at the same time. With present and subtle tannins, with recognizable character and balance.
VINEYARD: 160 hectares with which all its wines are made, planted between 1988 and 2011. They are distributed from the middle areas to the moors that exceed 900 meters of altitude, each one with its own personality. The soils are austere and the vines are subjected to an effort to self-regulate their performance and offer the best fruits.
PREPARATION: Subsequently, a double selection was made in the winery: bunches and berries. The work by gravity allowed to respect the raw material to the maximum. The fermentation by plots, the use of own yeasts and calm are the guidelines of the elaboration of this wine.
AGING: The wine was refined by protecting it in French and American oak barrels for around 12 months.
