2012 is a special vintage for the wine, Matarromera Crianza 2012. The February temperatures went down to -10ºC and spring also started with rather cool temperatures. But a rainy April and warm May helped the grapes ripe well after all.
The result is actually impressive. Matarromera Crianza 2012 represents the winery Matarromeras' typical taste, but goes even further. This bottle perfectly reflects the character of the Spanish wine region, Ribera del Duero.
No wonder that this vintage could convince so many palates of expertise and won several awards in a short amount of time. And what's your palate's tasty opinion?
