TASTING NOTES OF Malleolus 2015:

  • View: cherry red very covered.
  • Nose: intense, opulent and fragrant, noble, balsam wood and spices.
  • Mouth: powerful, silky and enveloping a long and persistent aftertaste.

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.

VINEYARD: Camino Viejo.

GRAPES: 100% fine Tinto.

AGEING: 18 months in Allier French oak barrels.

PREPARATION: 18 days maceration with the skins, malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.

PAIRING: rice with meat or spicy stews.
