Legaris Roble 2017 is a mono-varietal that allows the best characteristics of Tinto Fino grapes to shine with all their strength. The vine's fruity tones and the hint of wooden barrels blend perfectly in this exquisite Legaris, which is a gift from the Douro region to wine lovers around the world.
Elaboration of Legaris Roble 2017
Legaris Roble 2017 (Tempranillo)
- View: purple red, high intensity blue tones.
- Nose: High aromatic intensity, red fruit and vanilla notes
- Mouth: sweet, balanced and round.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.
VINEYARD: Vineyards planted on alluvial soils, gravelly and sandy loam.
GRAPES: Tinto Fino.
AGEING: 3 months in American oak barrels
PREPARATION: destalked softly and moved almost entire deposits. After a cold maceration 48 hours, conducting the fermentation at 24 °C, total duration of the maceration of 8 to 10 days. Then malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
PAIRING: vegetables, sheep cheese, rice with meat, sausages, grilled pork, roast, pasta with meat sauce.
TEMPERATURE: 16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
Legaris has a total area of almost 100 hectares of vineyards that extend along two payments located in the municipalities of Curiel de Duero and San Martín de Rubiales. A good wine.
The Tempranillo had a very deep color. Strong scents of coffee and toffee. I think it was correct.
