Description of El Anejón 2016

El Anejón 2016 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo)


  • View: dark cherry color.
  • Nose: Dominated by floral and black fruit notes with a background of sweet spices, spices and fine cocoa. Toasted own parenting are very well integrated.
  • Mouth: Wine silky, elegant and with a long journey in the mouth. It has a delicate touch mineral and balsamic background in the aftertaste.

APPELLATION: Ribera de Duero.

VINEYARD: Payment of Carraovejas.

GRAPES: 94% Tinto Fino, Merlot 4%, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.

AGEING: The aging was conducted for 12 months in new barrels of French oak and superfine grain.

PREPARATION: Manual harvest in small boxes. Vintage 2016 was begin on October 4 and ended on 28 October. After the manual harvest in small boxes, the grapes go through cold storage and sorting table where they carefully select each grape. The fermentation takes place in French oak vats of different formats to enhance the characteristics of this plot.

WINE PAIRING: Ideal with roasted hunting, cheeses and cold cuts.
