Alion Double Magnum 2015 (Tempranillo and Tinto Fino)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: concentrated, dark, but bright and seductive edge pillory.
  • Nose: great intensity, nuances of roasted grapes and toasted wood luxury.
  • Mouth: tannins softened concentrated black fruit, sweet and creamy French oak tannins, flavourful, powerful, fleshy, with a display of truly evocative nuances.

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.

VINEYARD: strains of 25-35 years old.

GRAPES: Tinta Fina.

AGEING: aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months and finally about 18-20 months in bottle before going to market.

PAIRING: grilled red meats, stews, vegetables, small game hunting semi-hard cheeses and hair.

- View: cherry red, cardinal trim.
- Nose: slightly spicy nose, notes of red fruits ripe, fine woodwork tips.
- Mouth: elegant line, extremely elegant attack, step firm mouth, unutoso end, aromas of fruit at the right point of ripeness. long, elegant finish.

A special red wine for someone just as special .
Red intense cherry colour and very high layer. It has aromas that reminded me of white roses. A little too acid although it depends on the taste of each person.
The Vega Sicilia Alion Doppelmagnum Double Magnum is the ideal wine to pair it with wild boar sausages.
