Balanced, complex and pulpy, Aalto 2011 is based on the grape variety Tinta Fina, or Tempranillo, that grow on old vines with low yields. Mariano García, responsable for Vega Sicilia's wine elaboration for over 30 years, added character which vaulted this wine on the top of the wines with the best cost-benefit ratio.

Aalto 2011 (Tempranillo and Tinto Fino)
- View: Aalto 2011 has a cherry red color, intense and dark, with purple trim. This wine is high layer with abundant tears slowly and evenly.
- Nose: Aromas of red fruit, elegant notes of noble wood, vanilla, spices, roasted, chocolate, coffee, licorice, smoky, balsamic.
- Mouth: powerful, with lots of volume and body, acidity and tannins powerful yet polished. Long and very persistent with a pleasant and elegant finish.

How to serve
Aalto was founded in 1998 by the hand of Mariano Garcia (Bodegas Mauro and former winemaker at Vega Sicilia) with Javier Zaccagnini (Bodegas Ossian). It was launched in February 1999 with financial support from several investors excited about the quality wine. Mariano Garcia is the winemaker and Antonio Moral is responsible for viticulture.More about the Winery
