Lapola 2016 is a white wine from the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin, made in the Dominio do Bibei wineries from a complex mixture of old and new vines, which favor the white and red varieties over the prevailing monoculture, resulting in a curious white wine that is complex, with a long and persistent finish that shows Dominio do Bibei's quality. TASTING NOTES OF Lapola 2016:
- View: straw yellow, golden reflections.
- Nose: Complex and delicate aromas, white and yellow fruit, white flowers and fresh herbs, mineral notes and citrus pastry background
- Mouth: intense and voluminous entry, dense and unctuous tour, exceptionally long finish and persistent heartburn.
APPELLATION: Ribeira Sacra.
GRAPES: Godello, Albariño, Dona Blanca and other varieties.
AGEING: on its lees for 15 months in fudres for 8 months and 7 months in French oak barrels 40% and the rest in barrels of Austrian and German oak.
PAIRING: fish, octopus and steamed clams.
