Lalama 2016 (Brancellao, Garnacha and Mencía)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: intense cherry.
- Nose: aroma of red fruit, wilted flowers, herbs.
- Mouth: flavourful, spicy, ripe fruit.
APPELLATION: Ribeira Sacra.
VINEYARD: Vineyards of 15 to 100 years old, planted at an altitude of between 300 and 700 meters above sea level and with different soil type. Slate, clay or granite.
GRAPES: Mencia (90%), Brancellao Mouratón, Souson and Grenache (10%).
AGEING: 20 months on its lees, 65% in French oak barrels of 300 liters of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and 35% in foudres 45 and 25 hectoliters. Stay of 14 months in bottle before leaving the winery. Unfiltered and stabilize.
PAIRING: grilled meats, salads and fish flavored sauce
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14-16 °C
