TASTING NOTES:
- View: straw yellow, greenish, bright and clean iridescence.
- Nose: a wide range of aromas, notes of white flowers, pear and grapefruit notes and hence touches minerals, menthol and eucalyptus.
- Mouth: good work fine lees, a perfect balance and excellent mouthfeel with freshness and a strong expression of the Albariño varietal.
APPELLATION: Rias Baixas
VINEYARD: Name: Pazo de Barrantes. It is a small vineyard surrounding the winery in the Valley of the Salnés. The composition of the soil on the farm is sandy character, shallow and slightly acid.
GRAPES: 100% Albariño.
AGEING: remains in contact with its fine lees for two or three months to get texture and density.
METHOD: Handpicked in boxes of 20 kilograms. It was conducted between 7 and 19 September 2017. The grapes, once destemmed, gently and slowly pressed in a pneumatic press. Decantation of small particles in suspension typical of the prior wort fermentation. Fermentation at controlled temperature of 10 ° C for 30 days in stainless steel tanks.
WINE PAIRING: tartare carabineros, hue grapefruit and crisp pancetta, white asparagus, mint white shrimp, broiled scallops, marinated sardines.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 9-12ºC
ALCOHOL: 13.3%
