Marieta 2018 (Albariño)

TASTING NOTES of Marieta 2018 :

  • View: yellow color with lemon reflections
  • Nose: intense, notes of white fruits (pear, apple, peladillo, melon) and citrus.
  • Mouth: sweet, intense, notes of fruit and citrus. Lightweight bubble point.

AGING: Semi-Dry

ELABORATION: Alcoholic fermentation at 16-18ºC in stainless steel tanks. It is interrupted before its completion by using cold, so that Marieta contains 14gr./L. of residual sugar.

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Straw yellow color bright.
  • Nose: soft aroma with sweet notes of pear, melon, apple, tangerine, flowers and fresh herbs.
  • Mouth: fresh, complex and well balanced, with soft tannins and citrus on the palate taste.

APPELLATION: Rias Baixas (Galicia, Spain).

VINEYARD: Bodegas Martin Codax.

GRAPES: Albariño.

AGEING: Madura for 3 months in stainless steel tanks in contact with lees.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand, before being destemmed, followed by cold maceration of the skins for 12 hours, then make gentle pressing. Passes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C.

PAIRING: Appetizers, entrees, vegetarian dishes, baked fish, seafood and soft cheeses.
