TASTING NOTES OF Mar de Frades 2009:
- View: The Mar de Frades 2009 shows a pale yellow color with lime-green iridescence.
- Nose: This year the tropical aromas are replaced by white pome fruits, almond blossoms and aromas of lychees in syrup.
- Mouth: The taste of fresh apple and herb aromas become more complex, deep and minerals. Heartburn is a fresh creamy, elegant and very tasty. It has a sober and friendly character but no less subtle, fragrant and elegant gent. It remains in the final saline and eucalyptus background so characteristic of ours.
VARIETY: 100% Albariño
HARVEST: It lasted just ten days beginning on September 20. A warmer than usual with little rainfall and summer came early, fast and very homogeneous ripening.
PREPARATION: grapes, bunch by bunch selection table is carefully selected. The grapes are macerated in cold and oxygen-free atmosphere, preventing breakage. Below is pressed quickly and in an inert environment and collected weeping for wine must tear. The juice goes to fermentation tanks where we have previously done a walk to Cuba from selected plots that print one character to the wine.
