Portugal on the other side of the Minho river passing through Fillaboa, Pontevedra, are the vineyards of Bodegas Fillaboa. The wall surrounding the estate also contains eleven payments facing south that form the 70 hectares of vineyards that comprise Bodegas Fillaboa: Monte Alto, Road, Calves, Castro, socalcos, Antigua, Minho, Eucalyptus, River, Carasol and The snows.
The vineyard is planted entirely with the variety Albariño. Albariño vines slender, trellised and bower, small payments dot forming a puzzler vineyards.
The richness of its soil with good drainage and proper composition by the wet Atlantic climate, mild temperatures, make Fillaboa a privileged place for growing grapes.
Fillaboa is a benchmark in the Rías Baixas Denomination.
Fillaboa good daughter-in Galician is located in the parishes of Cabreira and Arentei, in the city of Salvatierra de Minho, where the river Minho sister, who does not divide, Spain and Portugal, and is the largest farm register of Pontevedra.More about the Winery

It has a light yellow colour. Smells really good, like banana and lychees. I would say it was a Galicia with good body.
It was a perfect companion for the main course.
