Are you looking for a fruity white wine for the summer? We present you the Castelo Do Mar 2019, which will immediately convince white wine lovers with its fruity taste.
This Spanish white wine is produced in the wine region D.O. Rias Baixas. The area, with 2,500 hectares of vineyards, is dominated by the white grape variety Albariño. It is believed that this grape was introduced to the region in the 12th century by monks.
The Castelo do Mar Albariño 2019 is also produced with this Albariño grape variety and convinces with aromas of apple, apricot, tropical fruits as well as lemon and is ideal as an aperitif.

TASTING NOTE:
- Colour: straw yellow and bright.
- Nose: intense aroma, with notes of stone fruits, apples, lemon, grapefruit, minerals and laurel.
- Mouth: fresh citrus flavour, with a velvety texture and a persistent finish on the palate.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: DO Rias Baixas (Galicia, Spain).
WINERY: Veiga da Princesa.
GRAPES: Albariño.
AGEING: Matured in steel tanks for 3 months, and in bottle for another two months.
WINEMAKING: The grapes are hand-picked, then separated and destemmed, followed by gentle pressing and cold maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10°C for 14 days.
WINE MATCHING: pasta, seafood, white fish and appetizers.
