Albamar Ribeira Sacra Nai 2017 (Mencía)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Red purplish very vivid and clean.
- Nose: ripe fruit (cherry), almost compote.
- Mouth: more body structure and a red wine from Rias Baixas. Memories of ripe fruit, unctuous with volume.
APPELLATION: Ribeira Sacra.
GRAPES: 100% Mencia.
AGEING: aged in French oak barrels for 4 to 6 months.
METHOD: Handpicked in boxes. Despalillado after harvest to get the best possible acidity. Maceration for 20 days, in which the fermentation begins. Then pressed and ends fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where it passes four months. Subsequently let the wine makes malolactic fermentation in the same tank and passes French oak barrels.
WINE PAIRING: a chicken to the oven, charcuterie and even with a steak tartare.
