Wild Garden Western Cape Chenin Blanc 2019 (Chenin)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: lovely pale yellow color with bright flashes of green.
- Nose: fruity aromas predominance of green apples and pears.
- Mouth: delightfully crunchy with mild flavors of green apples and citrus spicy notes. Dry style, has a refreshing palate with a fruity and bitter end.
APPELLATION: DO Westerm Cape SA.
VINEYARD: Westerm Cape.
GRAPES: 100% Chenin Blanc.
AGEING: malolactic fermentation took place, resulting in a crisp style of wine.
PREPARATION: The grapes were crushed not, but were left in contact with the skins and macerated for six hours at a controlled temperature of about 6 ° C. Thereafter, grinding was performed and fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at 16 ° C with selected yeasts until they dried.
WINE PAIRING: Serve with delicious grilled fish, boiling over shrimp and other fruits of the sea.
