Paladin Salbanello 2018 (Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec)

  • Mouth: Soft and balanced on the palate, with fruity flavours and a long, velvety finish.


VINEYARD: Paladin Vigne e Vini. With more than 50 years of experience in the art of extracting wines from the Venetian soils, the Paladin family has long produced beautiful wines, in harmony with the natural beauty of the estate. Over 100 hectares of vineyards, and a lot of passion, research, dedication, and a love for traditions, are the ingredients for making beautiful wines with earthy character, and a marvellous elegance.

GRAPES: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Malbec.

AGEING: Matured for four months in stainless steel vats prior to bottling.

PREPARATION: The grapes are collected in overmaturation, and vinified with extreme care to extract all the fruity character. The grapes are then subjected to a process of maceration for a period of ten days at a controlled temperature between 22° and 24°C. The wine is then aged in stainless steel vats to achieve the proper character.

PAIRING: Ideal companion to appetizing snacks, and some Mediterranean dishes. Also good with pizza and pasta.

The delicate softness of the Malbec combined with the power of Cabernet.Ricavato by a clever blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine follows with extreme rigor the principles of red wine production, and then hone their steel and glass features. It has a bright ruby ​​red color. The nose brings fresh and vinous aromas, typical of the grape varieties of origin, with currant and sensations very appealing raspberry.
