VINEYARD: This wine was created in Bottega's small Vittorio Veneto vineyard located in Veneto, Italy. This vineyard is used for creating niche wines. Veneto is one of Italy's largest wine regions, characterized by a wide scope of climates that can accommodate a number of different grape varieties. The region is bordered by the frigid Austrian alps to one side and the sunny Adriatic coast to the other.
GRAPES: Sangiovese, Lancellotta.
AGEING: A young wine.
PREPARATION: Bottega is a family winery with history dating back to 1635. This historical winery produces wines using both traditional and modern methods in order to create final products that are exactly right. In addition to wines, Bottega also produces vodka, gin, and vermouth. The company is dedicated to sustainable practices at every step of the way. To create Fragolino Rosso Sparkling Wired Cap, a light red wine is flavoured with strawberry extract to give it the perfect touch of fresh fruit flavour. Contains sulphites.
PAIRING: The delicately sweet wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or it pairs well with chocolatey desserts, fruits, or various vegetable salads.
