Description of Antinori Santa Cristina 2019
Antinori Santa Cristina 2019 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: ruby red, violet reflections.
- Nose: Intense aromas pleasant and fruity cherry and floral notes of violets, vanilla and coffee.
- Mouth: Soft and rich with a fruity aftertaste.
APPELLATION: Tuscany.
GRAPES: Merlot and Sangiovese.
AGEING: Aged for about 4 months. The wine was bottled from May 2020.
PREPARATION: each grape variety fermented separately. Once de-stemmed and gently crushed grapes, we proceeded to the maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks for a period of approximately one week. During this phase, the wine completed alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature that did not exceed 25 ° C Malolactic fermentation was completed in autumn.
WINE PAIRING: pasta, red meats, game birds and cheeses.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 13ºC

The Antinori family has been making wine for over six hundred years, since Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri in 1385.
