Henschke Louis Semillon 2015 (Sémillon)
- View: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
- Nose: sweet and slightly sour aroma with sweet notes of green apple, citrus peel and white flowers.
- Mouth: delicate and fresh flavor, with hints of green apple, lemon peel, plums, lime and white flowers, plus a dry and mature finish on the palate.

AGEING: Madura in steel tanks.PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand, and then be macerated skins and go through a soft pressing and fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, through stabilization and filtration of light throughout the process.

The Henschke family is one of the longest-established wine names in the Barossa. Johann Christian Henschke purchased land for a farm at Keyneton in 1861, after fleeing religious persecution in Kutschlau, Silesia (Germany). He planted a small vineyard and an orchard, and after initially making wine for family consumption produced his first commercial vintage in 1868, believed to be principally riesling and shiraz. His son, Paul Gotthard, continued farming and winemaking and planted more vines to increase wine production. Upon his father's death in 1914, third-generation Paul Alfred took over the property and as demand for fortified wines grew, winemaking assumed greater significance.More about the Winery
