D'Arenberg The Sticks and Stones Tempranillo Blend 2011 (Tempranillo)
- View: Medium ruby, garnet glow.
- Nose: varietal aroma clean up, somewhat earthy: notes of red fruit, cherries and some spiciness.
- Mouth: fruity, smooth taste, medium bodied. Fresh finish with good length and elegant style.
APPELLATION: MacLaren Okay.
VINEYARD: planted in stony soil sticks to produce this wine grapes.
GRAPES: Tempranillo 60%, Grenache 25%, 13% and Ink Souzao Cao 2%.
AGEING: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and American.
PREPARATION: small batches of grapes crushed gently
