The Alentejo region is known worldwide for its landscapes and its unique conditions for viticulture. Hundreds of hectares planted with different grape varieties that are converted annually into wines of the best quality, such as Monte Velho 2018 by the Bodegas Heradade do Esporão.
The Monte Velho 2018 is a coupage of Trincadeira, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Castelao grapes, in which the diversity and richness of Portuguese wines are condensed.
It has an attractive ruby color, aromas of red fruits and berries and a refreshing flavor that delights on any occasion, especially with a variety of pasta recipes.

Monte Velho 2018 (Aragonêz, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: ruby red, light appearance.
- Nose: aromas, well wrapped, subtle notes of fresh spices and red berries.
- Mouth: intense and rich, with a solid structure and a long finish.
APPELLATION: Alentejo.
VINES: granite floor shale and marl clay structure.
GRAPES: Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Syrah, Trincadeira.
AGEING: aged for at least 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
PREPARATION: stripping, crushing, fermentation at controlled temperature stainless steel tanks, pressing, malolactic fermentation.
PAIRING: veal, lamb and poultry.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
