Monsaraz Rosé 2017 (Aragonêz)
- View: Monsaraz Rosé 2017 is a medium-pink-coloured wine.
- Nose: It has an intense nose full of aromas of fruit and flowers. Most noticeable notes are roses, strawberries and cherries.
- Mouth: On the palate, this is a dry wine with a light bodied structure and high acidity. The flavours are mirrored from the aromas. The finish is fresh, balanced and persistent.
VINEYARD: Rui Veladas.
GRAPES: 70% Aragonez and 30% Castelão
AGEING: The wines do not go through barrel ageing. They are carefully selected and stabilized and after that blended to achieve a unique house style.
PREPARATION: The harvest is done manually. Grapes are gently transported to the winery, where they are crushed immediately. Maceration lasts for 18 hours at a 10° C. Various parts of the grape must are then separated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a 16° C.
PAIRING: Perfect pairing partners to Monsaraz Rosé 2017, are salads, seafood, fish and white meat. But many enjoy it just as an aperitif and rightfully so.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: Store it in a cool place where the temperature is around 12° C for 1 -2 years. When you decide to open it, serve it at a temperature between 8-10°C.
