The red wine Galitos 2017 is produced by the world-famous winery Adega Cooperativa de Borba. The grape harvest for this wine takes place from the beginning of September until the end of the month in the hot plains of the Alentejo. On arrival at the winery, the grape varieties are immediately crushed to preserve all the natural characteristics of the fruit.
It is a ruby red wine with a typical Castelão aroma of young and red fruits. The Galitos 2017 has a fruity taste with beautiful strawberry notes, typical of the Aragonez variety, and a fine and balanced freshness offered by the Trincadeira variety.
Serve this wine at 16 ºC and enjoy it best with grilled meat dishes.

- View: ruby well defined.
- Nose: aromas of wild fruits young, typical of the grape aragonez.
- Mouth: fruity, with pleasant notes of strawberry, typical of the Castelão grape combined with a pleasant freshness offered by the Trincadeira variety.

On the 24th April the Board of the Agriculture Guild of Borba invited a group of wine makers to gather around and discuss the possibility of creating Adega de Borba. On the 30th April 1955 the first Board of the Adega de Borba Cooperative came into force.More about the Winery
