Almaviva 2016 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Syrah)
- View: deep, intense and bright red ruby.
- Nose: aromas of red fruits and berries, raspberry and blackberry. Notes of caramel and coffee are joined. Refined and distinguished.
- Mouth: round and fresh. Subtle tannins highlighted by an end with notes of vanilla and pepper. Complex, luxurious, elegant.

GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon (64%), Carmenère (24%), Cabernet Franc (8%), Petit Verdot (2%)
AGING: 16 months in new French oak barrels.
ELABORATION: the rapidity and precision of the grape pickers to harvest healthy grapes from Cabernets and Carmenère after the rains, together with the optical selector, and a strict and careful control of the winemaking process in the winery, have allowed very promising, elegant and elegant wines accessible, rich in fruit, freshness and character.

As nearly all of them this one shows also a cherry colour. Slight smell of tea in this Maipo Valley. The texture of this wine from Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) was oily.
