A warmer than usual September, made the sprouting occurred earlier in Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenere. However, lower temperatures delayed sprouting October of Cabernet Sauvignon.

As could be expected, the harvest began two weeks earlier than usual, on March 15 with the first Merlot, and ended on May 18 with the last Carmenere. However, most of Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested under lower between April 17 and May 14 temperatures. The same happened with the Carmenere between 8 and 18 May.

I've purchased on this website.
Deep red cherry colour. Tobacco aromas. A red fairly astringent.

This rather mild wine pairs perfectly with roast lamb I've already tried it. I love to sharing this wine with friends.
As nearly all of them this one shows also a cherry colour. Slight smell of tea in this Maipo Valley. The texture of this wine from Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) was oily.

At the supermarket.
A really tasteful wine of red ruby colour. Deep scent, like coffee. Not the sweetest wine, but kind of.

Fun to drink with friends.
Rather clear red hue. Smells like cedar wood or pine tree. I kind of liked this liquorice aroma.
I don't remember the pairing, but the wine was delicious.
