Ruggeri Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Vecchie Viti 2016 (Verdiso and Glera)
- View: Bright straw.
- Nose: delicately fruity nose (notes of pear, apple but also aromas of sage) very clean and elegant with great intensity.
- Mouth: Very pleasant and balanced, with much fullness, complexity and persistence.
APPELLATION: Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore.
VINEYARD: grapes come from old vines scattered on the hills of Valdobbiadene territory and not a single vineyard.
GRAPES: 90% Glera, 6% Verdiso, 2% and 2% Bianchetta trevigiana Perera.
PREPARATION: wine obtained from the first fermentation, after several operations of decantation, allowed with yeast to the spring and then transferred to a pressure Cuba. The second fermentation is carried out slowly, carefully, and then the wine is left in contact with the yeast to a few days before bottling, held in late June.
WINE PAIRING: Fish.
