Ruggeri Prosecco di Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore Vecchie Viti 2019 (Bianchetta, Verdiso and Glera)
- Nose: Fruity and floral bouquet with aromas of acacia flower. It also has fruity notes of pear, apple and gooseberry.
- Mouth: In the mouth, the flavour is immediately fresh and intense and velvety on the palate with hints of peach and white-flesh fruit. The perlage is fine and persistent. The complexity is supported by a solid acidity with an elegantly zesty note in the finish.
APPELLATION: Prosecco Di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene
GRAPES: 94% Glera, 2% Verdiso, 2% Bianchetta, 2% Perera
AGEING: three months.
PREPARATION: Maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Slow second fermentation in springtime after the harvest in large sealed vats at 14-15°C followed by resting on the lees for around 3 months.
PAIRING: Ideal as an apéritif and excellent throughout the meal with fish, white meats, mushroom and vegetable-based first courses.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 5-7°C. Open immediately before serving.
