Ruggeri's Giall'Oro has a bright cleanness and persistent fineness that endows this Prosecco with great elegance. This dry and refreshing Italian sparkling wine is made from Glera grapes grown in the most highly-prized zones of the D.O.C.G. area in the Valdobbiadene - Conegliano hills.

Excellent as an apéritif and ideal for celebrations, this fresh Prosecco goes perfectly with vegetable-based dishes, white meats and delicately-flavoured cheeses. It's also the perfect partner to fine fish dishes such as raw shrimp.

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: light straw yellow in colour with sparkling highlights and impeccable clarity. Fine and incessant perlage.
  • Nose: Good aromatic intensity ranging from fruity notes of apple to white acacia flower. The bouquet has a refined elegance.
  • Mouth: Dry, fresh and pleasantly lean with an agreeably subtle fizz. Confident freshness which invigorates the structure of the wine and its fruity finish.

VINEYARD: the most highly-prized zones of the D.O.C.G. area in the Valdobbiadene - Conegliano hills.

GRAPES: Glera.

PREPARATION: Fermented without skins, at a controlled temperature of 18 °C. Second fermentation in large sealed tanks at 12-14 °C

WINE PAIRING: Excellent as an apéritif, ideal for celebrations. This wine goes perfectly with vegetable-based dishes, white meats and delicately-flavoured cheeses. Wonderful with fine fish dishes such as raw shrimp.
